This is the Time Of Year …..Garden Weddings, Tents and Rain…April Showers

This is the  time of year that one would love to say it is great to live in Florida with all the beautiful 80 degree weather and sunshine going around.  But as 27 Miracles ALWAYS insists to brides, do not let this false sense of security ruin your wedding day.  We speak from experience when we say, when selecting a venue for your ceremony and reception, please be certain that you have a rain back up.  27 Miracles had one client a few years back that was adamant about a wedding in the springs, beautiful place under a gazebo, so definitely would be okay if it rained keeping guests dry, right?  It even had side panels for wind and rain just in case .  You would think that would be fine, except for the 1/2 mile long hike in the grass and dirt road to get to the location for the ceremony.  We wanted to make this work for the client and even got to the point of sending someone out to the spot of the ceremony( 25 minutes away from the reception).  When our team got there,  the skies opened up and the park was  closing due to the rain. The unfortunate part of the park closing, is that the bride signed a contract stating that the monies paid are lost as they are not responsible for inclement weather.   Signs were made and left at the entrance of the location to the park in case a guest arrived.  Luckily,  the team of 27 Miracles and the staff at the facility, teamed up  from the day before ( just in case!!) to turn the cocktail area into a ceremony location.  With all that being said,  the ceremony started 10 minutes late and everyone made it to the location and remained dry.   This only happens when you have a competent team of professionals helping the bride and groom on the day of the wedding.

Tents are a great way to shield sun and drizzle. Some words of advice depending on the time of year, get air conditioning for it or heaters if it is cold, as well as a floor for the tent.  Having a floor allows for the guests shoes not to get muddy if it is drizzling.  And remember a tent is good for rain, not downpours, if it downpours the rain water will sit on the tent and seep through.  It is also not safe in our Florida weather where we have at times severe thunderstorms and lightning with winds that at any time can pick up to 40 mph.  This is not to instill fear in anyone doing an outdoor tent wedding, but mearly to instill practicality.  What do I mean be practicality????  Well, see below for the moral of the story….

Here are a few pictures of great tent weddings and events when done professionally in a tent…

So the moral of the story is……it is better to have back up and not need it than to need a backup and not have it…… Happy April Showers …..

Jenna Bush, daughter of the last President of the United States, was married recently but not in the White House. In fact, there hasn’t been a White House wedding for 37 years and that was Tricia Nixon’s wedding to Edward Cox in 1971. Unlike most of her predecessors, who married in the splendor of the East Room, Tricia preferred the natural, lush surroundings of the Rose Garden and her father, the president, agreed. until the big day.

It rained.

By 4 o’clock, when the wedding was to begin, it was pouring. The White House staff would not set up the chairs because they didn’t want to dry them off. The guests were waiting and the President of the United States was in a tizzy.

Finally, in an act of desperation, he called the Air Force, who informed him that the skies would clear at exactly 4:30. The chairs were hastily…

Kaleb’s Reunion with Nurses and Doctors

There is nothing more rewarding to the doctors and the Nurses at Florida Hospital or any hospital tat has a NICU the rewards that they feel. That was want Kaleb’s visit to the NICU involved visiting with therapists and doctors.  They were happy to see Kaleb.

Watch as you see Kaleb interact with his nurses and doctor.

27 Miracles would like to say a special thank you to Florida Hospital for giving us the opportunity to share our testimony with other parents and for taking care of Kaleb, our little miracle. http://www.floridahospitalforchildren.com/

Interview for Florida Hospital

It was most recently that Florida Hospital requested that Rosie and Marcus Moore interview at the hospital where their little Micro preemie of 1lb 10 oz and 27 weeks was born.  It was an honor to be able to share Kaleb’s story with everyone.  Although there were parts that neither of them had thought about since the early birth of their son.  They toured the first NICU where Kaleb stayed for a few weeks before transitioning to where he stayed for 5 months.  It was an emotional moment to see where a fight for life started.  The beeping of machines, the monitors and the urgency of the NICU.  But it helped Rosie and Marcus understand the importance even more about supporting parents as they go through the challenges and ups and downs of their precious babies in the hands of the doctors and the nurses.  That is when you pray for Faith to get through not each day but each moment of the day as a child’s life hangs in the unknown.

For those watching today, help other preemie parents and purchase the book A Story of Faith by Rosie Moore, you can contact 27 Miracles directly to purchase your copy today, 407-905-5454 or email us at  info@27miraclesbyrosie.com

When purchased part of the proceeds will be donated to Nathaniel’ Hope http://www.nathanielshope.org/

Review from Christine MacPhail

It was my honor to perform harp music at the wedding of Alyssa & Francisco on December 2, 2011 and work with Rosie Moore of 27 Miracles Wedding Consulting. This was a very special couple and Rosie handled their needs perfectly.

As with other times I have worked with 27 Miracles, everything was organized and thoroughly outlined for this wedding.  Rosie provided a timeline and vendor information sheet to be sure no detail was forgotten.

But in this case she went even further with her wedding planning duties because it was a Christmas Blessing wedding.  To help make the day special for this couple, Rosie sought out a variety of wedding services and coordinated everyone’s donations and contributions to come together for a beautiful evening.  She knew how to please the couple, the vendors, and the wedding guests.

I always enjoy working with Rosie and the 27 Miracles team. Rosie is not only a wonderful planner, but she also has a lovely personality which is such an important attribute in the social event business.

A Review from Nannuk Media

February 20, 20112

I appreciate the opportunity to highlight the work that Mrs. Rosie Moore performs as a wedding planner.

I’ve been in Florida  for three years working in the Wedding Field. During that time I have been following through the Internet the career of Mrs. Moore. Finally, on December 2, 2011, I had the opportunity to personally work with her. I would like to emphasize several points:

  1. Mrs. Moore is a highly organized person.
  2. She is in control of time constraints while performing her work, thus allowing for the event to take place within the established parameters.
  3. She is a team player, acknowledging the work of the vendors collaborating in the event.
  4. She is down-to-earth, sensible, polite, and interacts easily with the public.
  5. I could see first-hand that she enjoys her work and is passionate about it.
  6. She exudes confidence and serenity, desirable qualities for clients requesting first-class service.

Finally, I would like to provide an example of the quality of the work that Mrs. Moore performs that speaks volumes about her passion and integrity as a professional.

Mrs. Moore was recently in charge of the Alyssa and Francisco’s Christmas Blessing wedding. She made every effort for it to be very beautiful, full of details that would become happy memories for the bride and the groom. The wedding was very elegant and delicate. Mrs. Moore took great care in seeking the best in order for this lovely couple to fulfill their dream of love.

I do not have any reservations in recommending Mrs. Moore as a Wedding Planner; my words are not sufficiently eloquent to describe the passion that this classy lady brings to her craft.
